Public Provident fund
Vide notification no. GSR. 1237 DT. 3-10-2017 has made amendment in Public Provident fund Act, 1968 whereby it has been held that the interest on Deposits in Public Provident fund has been decreased from current interest rate 7.8% to 4 % in case of depositors who has become NRIs from the date the depositor become NRI. Their PPF account will deemed to be closed w.e.f date when the account holder become NRI.
INCOME TAX RETRUN AY 2019-20
Last date for filling Income Tax Return for year ending 31-03-2019 relevant to AY 2019-20 has been extended from 31-03-2020 to 30-06-2020
